I offer a bespoke service working with your measurements, colour choices and any other requirement you may have, so you can make your special day even more special by wearing a work of art that complements and enhances your outfit in a unique and original way. Whenever possible, I try to use ethically sourced materials such as repurposed sari silk and Fair Trade silver, so together we can also do some good to the environment and help disadvantaged communities around the world.
The gallery below shows one of my bridal creations, Mar Adentro (2013), and a bespoke birthday present for a young violinist, Life on a String (2014).
Mar Adentro was inspired by sea creatures such as anemones and corals. The fabric was a beautiful dupion silk with a subtle shine and iridescent effect, enhanced by large, slightly decadent baroque pearls fixed onto oxidised silver stems. The design was tailored to fit the tunic's neckline and the gorgeous shades of red and orange with gold, turquoise and purple accents perfectly complemented the bouquet and shoes.
The customer of Life on a String wished for a violin-themed necklace in red and purple, so I came up with the idea of a fiddler fox. The fabric is a soft, lightweight silk with strings gathered to suggest the idea of a fox tail flowing around the neckline, in a variety of red hues inspired by the fox coat, from rusty to orange to burgundy, with purple, gold and brown accents.
